Bitch, Im the bomb like tick tick

My baby tiger. The Aponte family was blessed with Tiger Goldenson (Goldenson was the name of his grandfather, who was a champion showdog) Aponte on a snowy Christmas eve. The story goes that my father went to buy us a dog, as a surprise (even to my mother), and came across two Lhaso Apso puppies. One was energetic, lively and looked to be a delight. The other was huddled in a corner shyly staying away from the people. Before my father could ask the salesman to see the energetic one, a little girl cut him to the chase and proclaimed “Daddy I want that one!” My father reluctantly bought the other puppy, set him the passenger seat of his car and the Lhaso Apso puppy, with the now huge green bow around his neck, quietly rode the whole way home. Considering that I have been asking for a dog for most of my life, and emphasized my desire when moved into a house with a yard,  it was a pretty big deal when I saw my father walk through that door with Tiger in his arms.

Now im going to tell you a story that happened one of the first few months we had Tiger, that would define Tiger as a dog for these past years. Tiger detested taking baths. He also cleverly knew that my mother detested having to clean up his pee. Well after a long struggle of trying to get Tiger in the bathtub and him finally surrendering, my mom gave him a cleanly bath. Afterwards, Tiger did his ritual of running around the house, while shaking himself, to get dry. While he did this, my mother cleaned up the bath area and then continued into the living room. There she found Tiger sitting next to his own puddle of pee. He looked at her… She looked at him.. and off he ran as fast as he could. My mother understood very well what just happened.

Since then Tiger has gotten into antics, such as eating paint, escaping my house and running around the neighborhood, biting everyone and everything, and attempting to chase cars one too many times. However all you have to do is look at that face and you will fall in love. Even if he does try to bite it off in the process. He is my lil beast and I Love my Tiggie <3
